As a certified Health Coach, I approach health from a holistic perspective and guide individuals in their pursuit of improved physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. My role is not to prescribe solutions, but rather to assist clients in identifying both the obvious and subtle factors contributing to their current state of wellness.
I provide guidance in exploring bio-individual choices and personalized health strategies, supporting clients in cultivating greater self-awareness about the factors influencing their well-being. My goal is to empower individuals to make sustainable lifestyle changes by drawing on their own internal wisdom, while ensuring they feel heard, valued, and supported throughout the process.
Life’s inevitable ups and downs can easily disrupt even the healthiest habits. With over 30 years of experience in the corporate business world—while simultaneously serving as a primary breadwinner, wife, and mother—I have personally navigated significant stress, loss, and unexpected life transitions.
I understand the patterns of eating for convenience or comfort, and the common tendency to deprioritize personal health and well-being. My own journey has included challenges such as yo-yo dieting, weight fluctuations, and a decline in physical health linked to dietary imbalances, including hormone dysregulation, inflammation, and acid reflux. I have also experienced the effects of chronic stress, self-abandonment, diminished self-confidence, self-limiting beliefs, and periods of depression.
Outwardly, I continued to live a successful life. However, internally, my quality of health and overall well-being had significantly declined. I found myself questioning how I had drifted so far from the version of myself I once knew.
I overcame a long-standing struggle with food addiction. My transformation began when I learned how to adopt clean eating habits and integrate portion control and food preparation into my busy lifestyle in a sustainable and manageable way. Within ten months, I lost 70 pounds, experiencing not only significant physical change but also profound emotional benefits.
At the time, I was so encouraged by my progress that I promised myself I would never return to my former habits—only to regain half the weight I had lost. I came to realize that I had addressed only one dimension of the issue: food. I had neglected the other critical aspects of my health that also required attention and transformation.
As a graduate of the IIN® Health Coach Training Program, I came to understand that holistic health is inherently multidimensional, encompassing physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. I also learned that health—and the journey toward it—is unique to each individual. This insight marked the beginning of my path toward true healing and sustainable balance.
This learning experience compelled me to take a serious and honest look at the areas in which I was unhealthy—physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually—and to recognize how unaware I had been of my own role in sustaining those patterns. It became clear that I could not maintain physical health when it was the only dimension of wellness I was addressing. I needed to critically examine my history and long-standing habits that had shaped my present reality, including the underlying drivers of my disordered eating behaviors.
I redirected my focus toward comprehensive healing, investing in well-being across all areas of life to build a sustainably healthy and fulfilling future. Through this process, I came to understand that all meaningful change begins with a mental shift. We must first change our mindset, become conscious of the impact of our choices, and act with intention to transform our priorities, habits, and daily practices.
I ultimately learned that true health is not defined by a specific number on the scale, but by the overall quality of life across all domains—and the inner peace we cultivate in the process.
I can help you discover that you may be just a few coaching conversations away from a breakthrough—and a better life.
